After spending most of the trading session in positive terrain, the Brazilian market returns to its
pattern of dramatic declines. This Wednesday, (1st of December), the Brazilian market has
suffered a day of losses, closing at 100,774.57 points, with a 1.12% decrease. This was likely due
to the uncertainties present in the global scenario, and pessimism surrounding the recent
changes made in PEC dos precatório.
In contrast to past months, companies such as Magalu (MGLU3) , Locaweb (LWSA3) and Meliuz
(CASH3) have been highlighted as the top 3 most devalued companies, suffering losses of 11.8%,
11.4%, and 9.9%, respectively.
On the international front, the USA’s markets have shown a similar trend. Dow Jones, Nasdaq,
and S&P 500 have also suffered a day of losses.
